Limo/Shuttle Suggestions for Westlake, OH area

Hello!

I am looking for suggestions for both a limo service for the wedding party (between the ceremony and reception), as well as a shuttle service that will transport guests to and from the reception and hotel.

My ceremony is in Avon Lake and the reception and hotel will be in Westlake.

I also wanted to know if it is typical for the bridesmaids to have a limo transport them to the ceremony, in addition to having a limo for between the ceremony and reception?

If you know of any good transportation vendors, please let me know!

I've been in weddings both with and without transport.. I think it's just whatever your budget can afford! either way is fine!

and I have no idea about companies.. does your hotel have a shuttle you can reserve?

For our wedding, we had the bridal party transport themselves (they loved that flexibility), but I was in a wedding where they hired a limo bus for the day to transport the bridal party AND their dates, in addition to the bride and groom. They used Shima Limo, but All Occasion Limo has them (and does a great job) as well. For something different, the RetroRider is a converted bus that's cool. Or, Lolley the Trolley is different and fun, too -- but not air conditioned if that's a concern for you. Good luck!

How many guests are you looking to transport?  It really depends on your budget, but I would first check to see if the hotel offers any sort of shuttle service for free, then if not I would aim to have a single form of transportation that can take the WP to the various sites first and then same transportation would be used for guests shuttles.  All Occasions is a popular one that has mini buses etc.  I personally used a charter bus company (S&S Coach and Lakefront Lines are two I know of) that had mini buses that sat 24-55 pp and was more affordable than many limo companies pricing.  HTH!

Thanks for all of your help! Unfortunately the hotel does not have a shuttle, so I might go with a place called Celeveland Express which seems pretty affordable.

As far as the limo, it will be for 15 people so I am looking around for quotes.

    Thanks again!

I second the vote for All Occasion Limo.  There's a coupon in the entertainment book as well.  With the coupon it ended up to be $100 an hour for the big huge shuttle bus (we needed something that could hold 18 people) with a minimum of 4 hours.  Since it was so cheap we went ahead and booked it for 6 hours with a total a little over $600.
