Sick Bride = NOT CUTE

So this is random, but I am getting worried. I am 2 months out and I am concerned about getting sick. I am that person that is ALWAYS sick. As I write this I am in bed with a NASTY viral throat infection causing sores all over my throat. Not cute. I am wondering if anyone has some tips to not get sick. I feel like I am a doing the basics. I workout, take vitamins (even a pro biotic too boost immune system), drink plenty of water, sleep a good amount, and I wash my hands regularly, etc. Any tips?

Have you been seen by your doctor to find out why you are sick so often? It could be nothing, but there is often a reason why people are prone to getting sick. You sound like you're doing all the right things. Make sure you're also eating healthy, simple foods. Things like fruits can do wonders for the body.I know FI is worried about this a little too. He gets cold sores when he is stressed out, and he really doesn't want to get one for the wedding. So he is going to talk to his doc about taking meds for it before hand, to prevent it.

I have to agree, getting sick often can be an indicator of something else going on.  That said, here are my recommendations:o Take airborne, some people say this doesn't work, but I think it's fantastic.o Eat a probiotic yogurt a few times a week. Research has shown the yogurts to be more effective then some of the pills.o Clean your workspace with a bleach wipe daily.  You wouldn't believe what's on your keyboard!o Replace your toothbrush monthly, and store it in your cabinet.  Every time you flush your toilet, fecal matter (bacteria/viruses included) are sprayed into the air o Don't touch the door handles or paper towel dispensers in public restroomso Leave your shoes out in the garage, you track in a whole lot from the bottom of your shoeso Change your air filters regularlyo Wipe down the equipment you use at the gymHope this helps!

Thank you guys for the advice. I do not have a doctor locally even though I have been here for over a year now. I just have done the urgent care thing. I should really look into getting one. I think the recent sickness is a result of many hours at the hospital with my little nephew. Prob not the best thing for my health to be around sick people all the time.I know what you mean about the cold sore thing. I do not get them myself, but the fiance does as well. We will def be looking into getting him on a preventative treatment.
