Officiant question

For the ladies that had a friend or family member ordained to perform the ceremony, do you know if it matters if that person is an AZ resident?  We would like to have a family member who lives in CA ordained to do ours but not sure if this will be a problem.  Thanks!

    I didn't do this, but my understanding is that as long as you (wedding couple) recognize the person as an 'ordained minister' it doesn't matter where they reside. GL!

    I don't think it matters where they reside. I have a friend that lives in CO and he officiated a wedding for another friend here. He did that Universal Life Church (?) program.
