Dermatologist

I want my skin to be in tip top shape for the wedding. Can anyone recommend a great dermatologist to deal with anti-aging? Thanks!

It's funny you mention this because I just made an appointment with a dermatologist for a checkup. I have three to recommend, all from word of mouth. My appointment is with Alta Dermatology, but my co-workers go to the others & really like them. 1) Alta Dermatology in east Mesa (Dr. Sawyer)-         (480)981-2888 2) Camelback Dermatology in Phoenix- (602) 264-9044 3) AZ Advanced Dermatology in Central Phoenix-       (602)264-9044 Good luck!

Oh! A great esthitician is Katie Taylor who works at Glow in Mesa off of Val Vista & Baseline right by the Wildflower Bread Co. She's been my esthetician for 2 years now & has completely changed my skin!!! She's economical, gives you samples to try before buying, does peels/micro/etc, & even does wedding day makeup. Check her out, you'll love her! (602)373-5499

I agree- I did facials once a month before the wedding- and had a fabulous experience!I strongly recommend Jamie at Dolce Chandler- she's awesome and totally developed a plan for my skin, and is helping now as well (I went off of BCP so am paranoid about getting acne or something lame).  Dolce also emailed out a bunch of their summer specials, if you are interested, I'd be happy to forwad them to you, just shoot me an email:JenniferBultman@gmail.com

I cannot recommend Liz at Salon Estique enough! I have been seeing her for several years and she not only got my eye brows looking good after another lady destroyed them, but I get regular facials from her and my skin was awesome for my wedding. She had lots of tips and a few months before the wedding, she made a plan of what treatments I would get to have my skin in best form. I love her and cannot say enough good things.

nzg1983 ~Should I just make an appt to have a skin consultation to find out what services would be best for me? How do I go about that? Thanks!

Here is the link to the facials page there: http://salonestique.com/services3.aspWhat I would do is make an appointment for a regular facial with Liz and when you are there, tell her you are getting married on x day and would like to see if she can help you develop a skin care plan.  Since it will be your first visit, she will examine your skin and identify any problem areas.  She also takes notes.  My plan consisted of 2 peels, the last one being 3 months before the wedding, and a series of monthly facials.  Let me know if you have any other questions!  You can also email me:nicolezoe [at] gmail.com
