Honest Opinions wanted-Fairmont Princess vs. Arizona Grand

Ok-so i've pretty much narrowed by choices between the Fairmont Princess and the Arizona Grand.  I got a great package price from the Fairmont; and the Arizona Grand isn't too far behind.  I think the AG has more to offer during the day for my guests (Oasis Water Park) only thing is that I didn't like that they charge a $30 resort fee per person EACH day!  So ifor example f my cousin wants to bring her husband AND two kids to my wedding; she's got to pay an extra $360 on top of the normal hotel rate just to stay the weekend?? Just seeing that in print; now I'm thinking I'll go with the Fairmont!  They've got plenty of pools and slides to keep kids (and kids at heart) entertained.  But I still wanted to get the opinon of you ladies that may be familiar with the property!

Personally I do not think there is any comparison between the Arizona Grand and the Fairmont, the Fairmont wins HANDS DOWN in every aspect I have ever seen.  I have stayed at both properties and gone to events and both properties, the Fairmont is far superior in service and quality!  It really surprises me that you got a better deal, price wise, from the Fairmont, it is usually one of the most expensive resorts in town.  If you got a better deal at the Fairmont, or if it is even close in price, I say the Fairmont, if it were me I would not even have to think about that one!And I am sorry if someone is getting married at the Arizona Grand, I am in no way trying to say it is not a fantastic place, so please do not take it that way.  The Arizona Grand is a beautiful property and the events I have gone to were wonderful!  If it was between the AG and 99% of other resorts my answer would be different, I am not trying to offend anyone!

THANKS!! The Fairmont works out to be about $6 more per person.  But that's what I was thinking too (about the Fairmont) I just the AZG would give my guests more to do during the day; but the majority of my guests are all over 28 so will a group of 28-40 year olds really want to go on water slides all day...don't know if the extra money would be worth it. Thanks for the suggestions-I think we'll go with the Fairmont!  I'm planning to visit in the winter/spring to meet face to face with the coordinator and tour the property.  Can't wait to see it!

Wowzers! Do people really pay an extra $30 pp to stay at the AZ Grand? Ouch! I never understand why they tack on all these extra fees on top of the room rate.  I feel like it's trickery on their part
