Bachelorette Party Ideas

Initially I was stoked about the idea of going to Vegas for my bachelorette party. Lately, however, I'm wondering if it'll be a weekend filled with standing in line, paying too much $ for food/drinks & having to swarm off freakishly annoying bachelors who are looking to get laid in Vegas over the weekend. If you have any bachelorette party ideas feel free to share. My girls like to party & have fun, but our idea of fun is dancing, drinking, chatting with each other & not a bunch of dudes we don't know. We're planning the party for next spring with roughly 12 girls if that factors into your ideas. TIA!

My FI and I and 23 of our bridal party, and friends went to Vegas for our party in back in May.  It was a blast!  We spent Friday night together and had a big dinner and did some gambling.  Saturday and into Sunday was our separate parties.  The girls spent the day by the pool then got ready to go out for the night.  We went to a male revue at Hooters where I was brought on stage so a super embarrasing dance (but it was fun).  We went to a club and then back to our hotel for more drinking and dancing.  Sunday we had brunch and made our way home.  Months later everyone still talks about what a fun trip it was. I used to always stay on the strip at MGM or TI but lately we have been going to Freemont Street.  The Golden Nugget is my favorite and they have a fun pool.  I used to think it was creepy down there but our last few trip have been so much fun.  The club at Golden Nugget is fun too.  Doesn't compare to Myst or Pure or those but way cheaper.  The people you are with is what matters most!

I'm in the same boat gogalina. We thought about a road trip to vegas but afterward decided to do one here. We're just planning on getting a suite in Old Town and hanging by the pool then dinner and some bars around there. It'll be cheaper in the long run and will still give my local friends who wouldn't be able to get away for a whole weekend a chance to come too!

We are taking a pole/lap dance class, maybe that's something you'd all enjoy. We are meeting somewhere before hand for drinks and appetizers so everyone loosens up before the class and going to a nightclub afterwards.

I know there are a bunch of fun things to do in the valley, and I started to think of vegas as a hassle, but then i realized there's a whole other side to vegas that i love! We went for a friend's bachelorette party last spring and got a cabana at the Mandalay Bay pool for the day, and did table bottle service at Tao at night. Admittedly, it makes for an expensive trip, but when you reserve your own spaces (like a cabana and a table) there are no lines and you can keep the creepy dudes away!

I am doing a "Passion Party" or "Slumber Party" (both the names of the compaines) at my friend's house. We are going to have everyone come over, drink, hang out, play games, do funny bachelorette-type stuff, and have the passion party. I'm still thinking about going out afterwards....so we might do that to go dancing later. Just a suggestion...
