So, I got a call from my wedding venue today stating that one of their preferred caterers, the one that we picked, is no longer a preferred caterer. They are "not living up to the standards that Aldea has set." So, we are now changing caterers 29 days before the wedding. We have a tasting 2 weeks before the wedding. As if I didn't have anything else to stress about...I am, however, happy that they let me know. They said they have been getting a lot of complaints from brides about the food served at their wedding. Just wish the timing was better...

    Our venue has a new catering and events manager, so I understand your stress. At least the caterer changed before the tasting so you'll know what you're getting beforehand. And just feel lucky that you won't be one on the brides disappointed by your former caterer. I'm sure everything will turn out just as good, if not better, than you were expecting. :)
