Catholic Brides!

I'm looking for a small venue for a traditional catholic wedding. My church is beautiful (St. Bernanrd's in Scottsdale) but with seating for 1200, our 120 guests are going to look like ants in an enormous space. I love the look of Brophy Chapel, but neither me nor my fiance are graduates of Brophy or Xavier. I have seen exterior shots of the All Saints Catholic Newman Center at ASU and it is lovely but I wonder how large it is on the inside. We are open to chapels all over phoenix, so long as they will marry a couple of non-parishners. All suggestions are welcome. Thanks!

Hi! I used to attend mass at St. Bernard's...it IS beautiful, but large.  If you are open, you could check out Immaculate Heart of Mary.  Its in dowtown Phoenix, close to Chase Field (not the Basillica).  Its not in the best neighborhood, but do not let that deter you.  Its a pretty church.  Its a smaller Catholic parish that mostly serves the Hispanic community, but they welcome people of all backgrounds.  I considered having my ceremony there and spoke with Frances there-she is very nice!  Ultimately, the scheduling didn't work for me so I went with another option. Good luck!

I attended a wedding at the church at the Newman Center at ASU.  My sister booked the same photographer.  Maybe you could check out her blog or e-mail her for pictures.www.aligirlphotography.com
