Lazy bride - needs some photography info

I may be having to chose a photographer by the end of this month....based on the photographer being from MN, coming at end of month to do our engagement pics, and if she does the engagement pics we need to book her for our wedding in 2010...........SO-I am wondering what $$$ phoenix brides have been finding for photographers.....I do not want to have to call a bunch of photographers, so hopefully brides on theknot.com can help me figure out some different price points!  Thanks!

mine will be about $2,000 when all is said and done but I got there most expensive package. I went with A & B Photos (anbphotos.com) Amy and Byron are absolutely great but I think I still have a few pricing sheets from the photographers I interviewed. There is a wonderful photographer with extremely affordable prices that we used. Her name is Ivy. Her website is www.picchickonline.com She is fantastic to work with. She's one of those photographers that will listen to what you want and she knows how to get amazing pictures. I just got married on 9/12 and working with her made the day so enjoyable! ~Mary

Iris Creative Photography (Amy Pileggi)http://iriscreativephotography.net/ We're paying $1600 (with tax) for an engagement session (in which she took over 200 great photos of us) and a full 8hrs of wedding day coverage with 2 photographers. Shes pretty creative and good at both photojournalistic type shots AND traditional ones.
