Photo Location: Help!

Hi Everyone, I am photographing a wedding in Phoenix  for a friend (I'm in CA) and I need recommendations for a great location to take pictures. The bridal party pictures will begin at 3 p.m. so I need a shady place.  I need something in the area of Anthem Park (turned out to be too sunny there).  She wants outdoor pictures. I sent her a list of locations I found on line, be she said none were in the area. Resorts require that she be a guest, so that won't work either. She is beginning to panic and we all know that's not good.Help would be great! Thanks. : )

I'm not familiar with the West side, but ASU's west campus is on Thunderbird and 43rd.  It wouldn't be fantastic, but it could work with some creativity.  I know people get married on the campus, so there must be some opportunities. You might be able to contact the Cave Creek Golf Course to see if they will let you take pictures, for a fee of course :)Hope that helps a little

Anthem is a ways from there. The Boojum Tree isn't far from there. Look into it maybe you can work something out for just a photo location. I think some brides have had just engagement shoots there but not 100% sure. Good luck :)

Yeah, I am pretty sure they offer the place up for photo shoots, but it is only available on days they don't have a wedding or event booked.
