Country Lakes Party Center in Broadview Heights

Country Lakes was brought up in conversation as a possible reception site... looking for feedback on the place.  Have you been to a wedding there? Are you having your wedding there? Prices, etc?

THANKS!!!

My DH and I looked at the place for our wedding.  Although the prices were reasonably, and the grounds gorgeous, we decided not to go with it.  First, the size of our wedding (we invited 250 and ended up with 200) wouldn't have fit inside.  Secondly, we really didn't like the set-up - we could've ended up with people sitting way back in the corner all by themselves.  Finally, we didn't like the fact that the bar was literally right on top of the dance floor.  Although convenient, I couldn't help but picture someone turning around after getting a drink and getting bumped into by someone dancing.  If you'd like to consider it, I'd say go and check it out for yourself -- perhaps it's what you're looking for and it would probably work better for a smaller wedding (I have no idea how big/small you are planning).

I have been to several events there, including weddings, showers, and awards banquets.  I agree w/ pp about the bar being on the dance floor.  It does make it a little awkward, but people seemed to do OK with it.  The space is nice and the grounds are beautiful.  The food has never been exceptional.  THe last wedding I was there for was a buffet and I can;t say I was impressed.  The other event I was there for was a shower which was during the day and the swimming pool was open for their members.  It was kind of annoying to hear/see everyone at the pool.  It might be something you want to ask about.

I was there for my cousin's wedding. It was a nice hall, but all I remember is how dinner lasted like 3 hours!!!  or at least it seemed like it!  They brought out so many different courses and it took them so long to get it to everyone.  Not sure if there are any other dinner options there.  Good luck!
