HELP! I'm Bloating like Crazy!

My wedding is on Saturday and I just started my menstrual cycle this morning - not on are the cramps HORRENDOUS, but I'm also bloating! Does anyone have any advice? I don't want to look fat on my wedding day! :(-Kori

    Avoid salt at all costs!  Try to avoid sugar as well.  Salt and sugar are considered "osmotic forces," meaning that where they go, water follows.  If your diet is high in salt and sugar, you will retain more water.  You can eat/drink things that are natural diuretics like lemon juice, alcohol, caffine, and green tea.  Diuretics pull water out of your body and force you to pee it out.  With this, you do risk dehydration and having to pee quite a bit.  Also, one of the best bloat fighters is actually exercise. When I'm menstrual, the last thing I want to do is exercise, but it will really help get rid of that last minute water weight.
