Need help!

My grandmother lives in Sun City West and will turn 95 in September -- we are all flying out from ATL to have a party for her.  Since we don't live there I need some desperate help finding a bakery for a fantastic cake and a photographer to take some pictures of the festivities.

Can anyone give me some great ideas?

    How sweet!  I know that Baker Wee has yummy cakes and baked goods of all sorts.  Their website is www.baker-wee.com.  I haven't been there in a long time (I'm no longer in AZ), but from what I hear they're still fantastic.  They're about 20 minutes from Sun City West on 43rd Ave and Thunderbird (I think).  Good luck!

    I'm not sure what's out there, but Dillon's is a restaurant my grandma (who also lives in Sun City) absolutely loves and they might do cakes. They have a location in town and one a little out of the way on a "fake" lake that is gorgeous! You may want to consider having it there if you don't have a venue picked out already. :)

    AJ's Fine Foods Grocery store has a lot of awesome cakes - they are located at 67th Ave and Loop 101.  Their website is http://www.ajsfinefoods.com/, their phone number is  (623) 537-2300, they have loads of cakes for under $30, and they make custom cakes.  AJ's Fine Foods location is open 6 am to 9 pm every day.

    Cathy's Rum Cake is at 7th Street and Greenway (in Scottsdale, maybe about 20 minutes from Sun City) They have the best cakes http://www.cathys-rum-cake.com/theoriginalrumcakesince1975/ Their phone number is     (602) 996-9099 and hours are Hours:M–F: 10 am–5 pm Saturday: 10 am–5 pm. Closed Sundays and Holidays.

    I had a horrible experience with Baker Wee and wouldn't recommend their cakes. It was the worst I had tasted and I met specifically with Laura. There is cake contessa and custom cakes by elizabeth which I heard were good.
