Outdoor Country Wedding in December, AZ

Do able? I'm worried that the weather will be too cold to hold an outdoor wedding in december.... Anyone who has had an outdoor wedding in the Winter and has pointers for staying warm and not freezing my guests... The total time for my wedding wont be more than 4 hours, reception and wedding total. just need tips on a winter wedding, and possibly a cheap place that any one knows of...

    Are you having this in Tucson area? Tucson and environs is colder than Phoenxi generally. I'm having heaters, the fireplaces at our space going, and pashminas during the ceremony for any guests that want them.

    PP is right. Tucson is colder. Our wedding is also in December, and we are doing the ceremony outside and the reception indoors. We will have heaters going during the ceremony, and we are also planning on having our ceremony last about 30 minutues. If your wedding is in the afternoon, I think you could get away with more outside time. I would consider doing the ceremony outside and the reception inside.

    Arizona is beautiful in the winter. There are so many beautiful venues that already own heaters, I wouldn't worry about your guests freezing. I'm using the girls over at beautyandbrainsconsulting.com for my upcoming destination wedding. They are full of suggestions and have really helped me to relax and enjoy the planning process.
