Where are you staying on the wedding night?

We will not be going on our honeymoon right away.  We want to do an Alaskan cruise but since we are getting married in February that cruise doesn't run then.  We don't want to go home the night of the wedding, we would like to stay in a hotel or resort someplace.  I really want the whole  wedding night  atmosphere...rose petals, strawberries, whipped cream etc.  Where is everyone else going on the night of the wedding...any suggestions??

In what part of town are you getting married/having your reception? What area are you looking in? There are great places all over, but I assume you don't want to drive from Avondale to Scottsdale the night of the wedding!

Getting married in Gilbert.  Was thinking Scottsdale would be a great choice but I would love to stay closer to the east valley.

We'll probably stay at Scottsdale Gainey Ranch.  We had a staycation there a while back for our anniversary and the location we're thinking of is kinda close :)  Nothing is concrete yet but that's what I'm thinking.

Some of my fav hotel/resorts are the Montelucia, Fairmont Princess, Four Seasons at Troon and the Royal Palms.  Any of these would be an excellent choice for a wedding night.

We spent our honeymoon night at The Sanctuary on Camelback.  It was great, they knew it was our honeymoon night so they upgraded us to a beautiful suite, had champagne in the room and the rose petals!  It was amazing!!!

We're spending our wedding night at the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs in Phoenix.  If that's too far for you, try the Hyatt Gainey Ranch in Scottsdale.  Both are absolutely beautiful and offer romance packages, but the Hilton is a little bit less expensive.  :-)
