My Co-Worker Has Cold Feet!

My co-worker is getting married next weekend & she just came to my office indicating she's had some terrible dreams/thoughts the past few nights. She dreamt she was driving off the road & wonders whether it's a sign that she's not ready to get married. She also had an interview with her officiant yesterday & he kept grilling her on whether she has doubts & whether she's ready. Finally, she mentioned that her FH seems WAY more excited to get married than she does. All of these things have upset her & now she's doubting her decision. I told her that TK has tons of posts regarding this topic, but I can't find any. Can you ladies share whether you've experienced the same feelings before so I can put her to ease? Thanks for your help!

Well, I have had some weird dreams, but I have never interpreted them as a sign I should not get married.  The most frequent bad wedding dream I have had is that I forgot to send out the invitations so no one came.  But once again, I have never woken up from those dreams and thought it meant something more than the fact that I was just stressed out about getting my invites out.  Being anxious is one thing, but doubting is another.  If she is just nervous that is totally normal, but if she is really feeling that there are signs she should not get married, then maybe she should really examine that before she goes through with it.

My mom actually DID drive off the road on the morning of the wedding and my dad had to come rescue her from a ditch, and my parents are happily married.  :]

I don't think I have noticed too many posts about cold feet honestly, but I stick to only a few boards.

Thanks for your comments/advice girls. My co-workers is doing much better this week & especially today because she's getting married this Saturday! She feels great about the whole thing & thinks her nerves were getting to her. I even looked up "driving off a cliff" in my dream book & it noted that usually means the person feels overwhelmed emotionally, physically & mentally because they're under tremendous amounts of pressure. I think wedding planning equals a tremendous amount of pressure so there you go! GL with planning!
