Hair Crisis!

On Friday I was on my way to the airport to catch my flight to Vegas for my bachelorette weekend when I received a phone call from my wedding day hairstylist. I knew something was up because I was supposed to have my hair trial with her this Saturday & it was funny that she was calling me more than a week in advance (everything was confirmed already so she didn't have a reason to call). She told me that she wouldn't be able to do my hair for the wedding because she broke both of her wrists!!!! I panicked because I've already had disaster hair trials & she was supposed to be one of the best up do stylists in AZ (another Knottie recommended her & she did a fantastic job on this girl). She was also willing to travel to my house that morning, which was a huge plus for me. So, I'm in need of a great wedding day hairstylist who does fantastic updos & who would be willing to travel to my house on April 10th to do my hair only. Any suggestions?

I know there are other Knotties on the board that love her, which is why I did a trial with her in the first place, but I had Krissy for hair at Rolf's Gainey. My experience with her wasn't great because she didn't do what I asked her to. I wanted a low chingon that would last the whole day & work well with my mantilla veil. Instead she did a high updo that I didn't like. Plus, tons of pieces were falling out merely 2 hours after she finished my hair. She said we could tweak certain things about my hair to make it higher or lower, but there's not a whole lot you can do about pieces falling out 2 hours after it's finished. I went to breakfast after my hair trial so there was no dancing, hugging, etc. that would have messed it up. Also, my hair was just ehhh, I wasn't amazed by anything she did & for $120 trial & $120 wedding hair, I really think it should be AMAZING. It just wasn't, I've done my hair better for NYE & I'm not a "master stylist." :o(
