My photog wants to do photos at Papago Park and Tempe Town Lake. I'm super jazzed for Papago Park, but not so much for TTL.  Can you gals think of any nearby places that would be good for photos?

    The tempe center of the arts (right at tempe town lake) has some neat spots - one of the places we went

    Also there is a park I stopped at near papago park with a pretty lake that seemed neat.  Even some spots around Mill might be fun...

    Why don't you like Tempe Town Lake? We took a few shots there and they turned out nice. The only bad thing was that there were tons of flying bugs in the area we were at. Not sure what they were or if it was only at a certain end of the water. My friend had engagement photos done of her and her now hubby. They took a boat out onto the lake. Their photos turned out real cute.

    How about the zoo? Papago Park is huge, so the photos might turn out as though you went to different places.

    We also went to Hole in the Rock.

    The Dessert Botanical garden is in in Papago park. You could go there.
