Lavender and Old Lace

Anyone heard any reviews on this place? Or are there any Lavender and Old Lace Brides on here? It looks so beautiful and I would love to hear more about it!

I am not a Lavender and Old Lace bride but considered becoming one.
Out of curiosity, have you met with them yet?
After my fiance and I excitedly met with them we left feeling less than excited. The lady that we met with wanted us to use plasticwear and paper plates and cups. The garden was completely ripped up, there were holes on the outer parts of the main building (they said they were adding on) and they suddenly added these giant 'dollhouse' looking things by the ceremony site.

Really think carefully before you decide to go with them and be VERY clear about your expectations. The representative was very unprofessional when we met, having her children running around and also not listening to our wants. The tablecloths were unhemmed in areas and visibly worn and included.

My other issue was the picture location. There was not much variety when it came to pictures but she mentioned the need for the 'dollhouses' and how they would be adding more of them to the property for more picture taking opportunities.
It just seemed like it was not professionally run or kept very well. They had half of the main building used as storage, pots and pans and dust and dirt everywhere in the kitchen.

Just being completely honest. I hope this helps. I felt like I had wasted my time, it had previously been a dream of mine to get married there too but I felt those dreams crush after visiting their "newly renovated" facility.

i met with them when looking for venues.  it looks great from the website, and even driving by. but i was kind of let down when looking closer at it -- kind of falling apart... not well kept... dust... webs... and bugs outside all over the building maybe its cleaned up now... but i wasn't overly impressed
