    Sure, there are plenty. You can do Papago Park (Desert Botanical Gardens, Phoenix Zoo, Hole in the Rock), the Civic Center Mall (has the LOVE sign), Mesa Arts Center, any number of parks, downtown areas with historical buildings. It really just depends on what kind of background you're looking for.
