Am I being paranoid about my dress?

Hey girls-
So last month I ordered my dress.  I called the bridal salon about a week after to just make sure my dress was ordered and they said it was.

So now I wait!  What can I do?  Is it bad to call every month for a status?  Can I ask for a confirmation, tracking etc?  They said the shipping date wouldn't be until end of July.

What did you guys did while you waited? Maybe theres more that I haven't done or inquired?!?!?!

HELP! I'm just so nervous!

Pretty! Try not to stress!  It's killer waiting for your dress to arrive, but they have plenty of time to deliver.  July is many moons away!  I would probably call every other month to make sure that your dress is still on track.  I'm a micromanager, so I totally see where you are coming from :)

I would say if they told you it is ordered and they told you it will not be there until July, do not worry about it right now.  This is normal for wedding dresses.  You will drive yourself crazy over somethign you have no control over! I would say call about a month before it is due in and see what the status is, but calling every month for a status update is not going to do you any good, the status is going to be the same, it will be delivered by the end of July.  Beautiful dress by the way!

Your dress is beautiful! I ordered my dress in September & it arrived at the end of February so I wouldn't stress because a lengthy waiting process is completely normal. You should be fine provided you signed a contract with them, put down a deposit & they confirmed that the dress was ordered. That's all you really need to do. I would call about a month in advance to make sure the dress is on schedule. You want to be on top of things, but not overly annoying that they're like, "Oh she's calling AGAIN??!!!" Lol. Try to keep yourself busy in the meantime by completing wedding tasks. I'm sure there's plenty to keep you busy. My 5 months whizzed by & before I knew it, my dress arrived! GL!
