BYO reception areas-cleveland/akron

Hi All

Helping out my future sister in law.

Can you send me ideas on BYOB reception halls in the cleve/akron area? They are looking for something big and breezy with a deck for guests if possible...

Thanks!

check out club hillbrook in chagrin for SURE. this is our location and i am completely in love with it :) it doesnt have a deck, but everything is outside and breezy (it has an overhang so you dont have to worry if it rains, and it's just an absolutely stunning place! it's literally breathtaking. there are some pics in my bio, and here is their website:

Mooreland Mansion (sp?) is pretty inside and has a deck and patio. How many guests does she expect? Mooreland is better for smallish guest lists (100-150?) though. Not sure if it's BYOB.

St. Clarence Pavilion in N. Olmsted is BYOB and has retractable windows. The hall holds 200-450.

Lake Erie Nature & Science Ctr in Bay Village is BYOB and BYOCaterer and can handle groups of various sizes, up to something like 300.

The Terrace at Big Met Grille isn't a BYOB, but is very reasonably priced (in the neighborhood of $15-20pp) and very pretty w/ big windows and a Metroparks view. Best for a guest list of no more than 125.

    Good luck to her!

How big a guest list are you looking at? there are a lot of options for  BYO places that are smaller (<100 people) vs larger guest lists.

http://rosecafeatlakeview.com/ Rose Cafe at Lakeview holds up to 150
Pavillion at Deluca's place in the park is very nice

I think catering and alcohol are inhouse though.

Orchard Hills Party Center at patterson Fruit Farm  is BYO everything and has a deck overlooking a field where ceremonies can be held.

Ruby's Baquet Hall is pretty plain outside (no deck)but very pretty inside and BYO everything

i agree about rose cafe if her guestlist can fit! my brother had his wedding there, and the deck was cool :) the inside was pretty too, but the dance area was very, very, small. but she could get some awesome pics there if it's a nice day!
