Supplying your own alcohol?

Hi ladies,
I was wondering if any of you have looked into supplying your own alcohol. I'm venue hunting and trying to weigh every pro and con. One place allows you to supply your own alcohol, which I am sure would be way cheaper. I don't know by how much, though. If you have any information about where to buy these things from to get the best deals, I would be very grateful!

Also, has anyone looked at The Antique Wedding House in Mesa? We're going to the open house tonight to check it out. If you've been there, I'd love to hear your thoughts!

We are getting married at a location that allows us to supply our own alcohol, and it is saving us big.  We are serving beer, wine and sagrias.  For 200 people, we have spent or will spend about 300-400 dollars for the alcohol itself.  We will need to spend some more to hire an insured bar tender.

Supplying your own alcohol is a great way to save money!!! If the location you are at allows this, I would definitely do it!

I heard a rumor that Bevmo allows you to return unopened bottles of alcohol.  My venue also allows us to bring in our own stuff and we will definitely be looking into this!

Ladies that found venues that allow you to supply your own alcohol, where are these locations?  On the hunt for budget friendly location and since I know my guests will head for the bar before the buffet the alcohol situation/budget is stressing me out

Val Vista Lakes is one.

Don't think I saw any others.  Most prices I saw for open bar were about $20-$25 per person for other venues.
