Hey ladies!
I got married on 9/05/2010. We did a really small wedding (30ish people) and a lot of it was DIY. These were the vendors I could absolutely not live without on the day though.
Photographer-
OMG, I LOVE our photographer! Christine Antaya with A captured Moment was the photographer for my bridals and the big day. She was soo wonderful to work with. We changed the date on here 3 times and she was always willing to help us with whatever we needed. Our truck broke down on the way to my bridal shoot and her husband and her came out and got us and arranged AAA to take us back home. She was able to give us ideas and suggestions when an idea of ours (not photographer related) wasn't going to work, and she was just an absolute God send throughout this entire wedding planning process.
On the day of the wedding she got there earlier than we arranged and left later as well. She got EVERY picture that we told her we wanted and then some. Its only been a week and a half from the wedding and she already has 600+ pictures from the wedding up and edited and she is still editing some more.
Christine is very affordable and charges by the hour, and you can pick your picture packages after the wedding (what we did), or you can customize an all inclusive package with her. Also, she brought an assistant the day of! So nice!
We did our engagements with a Photographer who was going to charge us $2,000+ for our wedding day (Diane Haggerson I believe) and I am so happy we went with Christine!! I cannot say it enough!
Alterations-
Alterations by Sandra Denley was also amazing. We moved up our wedding from Jan 2011, to Sep 2010 at the beginning of August and I had 3 weeks to find someone to alter my dress in time for my bridal shoot. Sandr Denley was able to alter my size 14 Mori Lee gown down to fit my size 4 frame in 3 weeks without ruining any of the detail on the dress. I told her we lived in Flagstaff and I could only meet her on the weekends for the dress fitting and it was noo problem. Again, an absolute joy to work with this woman!
Hair-
Since we moved up the wedding my hair dresser wasn't able to do my hair on such short notice. A girl I work with recommended her brothers ex, Leah Locke. Leah was AMAZING! I sent her pictures of ideas I had and she met with me for 2 trials before the wedding to perfect the look I wanted. She's a young girl, and has only done hair for a handful of weddings but she got what I wanted down to a T! I sent her a few example pictures and from those we were able to pull something together that was unique and perfect for me. She will travel to do you hair and again, she was early on the day of the wedding, always a good thing.

Makeup-
Lauren Keen did my makeup on the day of the wedding. She is a dear friend of mine, but she is amazing and I would have had her done my makeup anyway even if she wasn't. She does airbrush, but we chose not to do that for my wedding. The makeup lasted ALL NIGHT! Through all the sweat and tears! Totally amazing! LOVE HER!
These were the vendors that I feel were the most important to us. We had the wedding at the scottsdale plaza resort, which was beautiful, but my dad works there, so of course they treated us nicely. Flowers and decorations were done my father and a girl he works with, and food was done by my in-laws. The day was absolutely perfect and went flawlessly!
Now for pictures!

I would love to post more pictures but this post is long enough. I never got into the whole wedding website thing, so If you want more pictures or questions about our vendors, email me at ksnicoll at live dot com
Happy Weddings!
