prices seem to vary from photographer to photographer, but we went with RAD photographer because of their amazing images! they are a husband and wife team who are so incredibly nice, and have been nothing but helpful during our planning process here is their website:

i agree with pp, prices range a lot with the photographers in the area. we are using imagen photography, because they are young, and very talented photographers. they are very personable and have been nothing but nice through planning with them.

Another wonderful, young talent is Tami Musick Photography. I've used her for family photo sessions and a b-pic session. She's great! Very easy to work with and extremely reasonably priced. She customizes her wedding packages to whatever  you may need (and to suit your budget), but I think you always get a cd of pics. IIRC, her general wedding package is around $1500. It seems like packages are so customized now that they can range in price.  A friend of mine used Babulski Productions in January.  He was very reasonable and had the photos to them by February.  Steve was really easy to work with and everything turned out beautifully.

We are using Rob Rife and found his pricing to be reasonable.  Although you are a bit out from your big day, I would at least start researching now.  I ran into a lot of photographers that were booked for the end of Sept. when I was calling in January.  Can't hurt to start early to ensure you get your vendors of choice!  Good Luck!

I used Riverfront Photography (www.riverfrontphotgraphy.com) for my wedding and was VERY pleased. It was helpful that they didn’t have any time limits, location limits or picture limits. They started with me at the salon! I think there packages started at 1500.00. My package was $2250 and I got all of my images on CD!

Do yourself a favor and look into Easy Wind Studios.. Scott and his wife are the company and he takes the most fantastic photos I have ever seen. Our engagement shoot was amazing and my fiance was completely comfortable infront of the camera, which is a pretty tough feat! He will definitely work with you on price as well---
