Catering cost?

Anyone willing to share with me what they paid/are paying for catering?

Re: Catering cost?

  • We're paying about $11K for food+open bar for 7 hours (100 guests) and that includes tax and service charges/gratuity.

My caterer was $6100, but I got a slight discount for being a friend of the family. That price does include tax and gratuity, as well as a plated salad, buffet dinner and unlimited tea, coffee, water, etc.

We got a package bartending deal for $2800 - includes unlimited alcohol, mixers, setup, bartender, etc. for the night.

Edit: this is for 150 people

  • We were quoted $6700 which includes staff, bartender/bar set-up, linens, dishes, sit-down dinner with salad and salmon or prime rib for 80, water/tea/coffee service, tax, and gratuity. We're allowed to bring in our own alcohol, so we're buying beer, wine and champagne separately.
  • We went with Heidi's Catering and our is costing $3600. Includes staff, taxes, cake (from piece of cake, they work together). We have a station setup: potato and mac station, kabob station, salad station, and one other station that we our still deciding on, as well as 3 different tray passed appetizers. Our bar package is beer and wine only and it contracted through the wright house for $750.

  • We are going with Raimondo's we are looking at $2250 for 100 people. Which includes salad, bread, three appetizers, three entrees and mixed vegs. The food is amazing. Ray is a wonderful sweet man and easy to work with. Good Luck !
  • @ Nickie1216 I was wondering what your caterers website was and what kind of food you were having, and where they/your venue were located. Hope to hear from you soon!! Thank you!
