Cake Tasting and flowers today

SO I did a cake tasting today at Baker Wee and in my opinion I didn't care for their cakes at all. They just handed us the cake and put us on our way. But the cake was very dry and just wasn't good to us.

On the brighter side, I met with Amanda at Butterfly petals and let me tell you I LOVED her! She is really amazing. I will definitely be booking her. Even if she comes out to be a little more expensive which I don't think she will be because she works within any budget!!! Her personality is awesome!!!!

If you are looking for a florist I recommend her!!

Glad you liked Amanda, I know a lot of ladies on the bard love her too.

For cake, I would check out graceful cake creations.  She was not one of the more popular one, but her cake was AMAZING!  She let us taste every possible cake, frosting and filling!  We were there for an hour or more.  We looked through books, she drew pictures and everything!  We met with the typical bakeries that are mentioned here and there was no comparison!

I've never even heard of that baker...    we are going to book with Piece of Cake for sure.  Their cake tasted the best BY FAR, and I love their style and personalities!   We went to 5 or 6 tastings, and a lot of them were really good but Piece of Cake had the best pricing and taste by a mile.  Plus they do some really unigue things.

I think we tried to call butterfly petals and a male answered the phone that my FI could barely hear because there was a kid screaming in the background.  LOL

We have only met with one florist so far though, so I'm still kind of hoping to get a meeting with her since everyone talks so highly of her here.

I second Piece of Cake. They were part of our venue package, but we still loved them anyway!
