small ceremony locations?

Hey guys,

FI and I finally decided we just want to do a small, intimate wedding with only like 30 people at the ceremony (it started turning into a circus with my family).  Any suggestions on places to hold a ceremony?  Were getting married in January.  Thanks!

I dont know what your budget is like but I really like Inspiridor (in Chandler) and it has a great intimate feel so I think it would be a good venue for a small party like that. Also I hear good things about the Japenes Friendship Garden. Secret Garden (north side of  South Mountain) may be a bit big, but always worth checking out :)

Oh! and try Regency Gardens and Stone Bridge manor - both in Mesa they have smaller areas on their properties that may work.

Also check out the Wright House.  They accommodate smaller numbers.

Thanks guys!  We have a tiny budget, we opting to save for a house instead.  So I don't know if that limits any of the suggestions.

This might be too expensive, I'm not sure, but The Compass Room at the Hyatt Regency.

We looked into, but it was too small for our 100 guests, but I would think 30 guests would be really nice.

We had a couple of brides who found some great deals on their wedding venues.

One got married at Portico in Gilbert and then had her reception at Serrano's Mexican Restaurant.  She had mentioned that their ceremony only price was pretty reasonable.

The other got married at the Japanese Friendship Garden and then had her reception at Aunt Chilada's Mexican Restaurant.

I think a restaurant is a great option for a small guest list.  You can provide everyone with a full meal without breaking the bank. I still can't figure out why catering companies charge so much for their sub par food...

Hi!  I just got engaged last Saturday and we are looking for a small place as well.  50 at the most.  Thanks for posting this. These ideas help a lot. I live in GA so this is a bit challenging Smile

Royal Palms has a great spot for an under 50 wedding. However, I don't know their prices. It's really beautiful to photograph there! I have also heard that http://www.chapelonthefarm.com/ is a great place for small weddings. But I have not photographed or visited so I can't say anything from experience.

    Good Luck!

Check out Tlaquepaque in Sedona: http://tlaq.com/articles/chapel.html. The chapel seats up to 45. The rental fee is very reasonable... $450.We're having a small, family ceremony there next February and reserved the banquet room for the reception. However, it's probably cheaper to go to a restaurant, if your trying to cut costs.
