Wedding Planner in Scottsdale for Caribbean Wedding!

I am a recently engaged Scottsdale, AZ resident who wants to have her dream wedding in the Caribbean.  I am trying to find a local vendor to work with here to make a personal connection with and to help me with my venture in the Caribbean to plan the big day.  I am seeking a professional that has prior experience in this area with selecting a spot, vendors, etc.  Can anyone help me?  Does anyone have any advice on how to go about finding this special person?

I don't know of anyone personally in AZ who does (or, rather, has done) what you're looking for, but I have been to Mexico on a would-be wedding planning trip to the Riviera Maya area, and can recommend some resorts to look into.

    1. The Royal Playa del Carmen (there's also one in Cancun, but I would go with Playa)

    2. Le Blanc Spa Resort (Cancun)

    3. El Dorado Royale

And there are TONS more, all-inclusives, a la carte, DWs are becoming increasingly a part of their business, so any resorts you look into will most likely have a wedding planner/coordinator for you to work with.

Check out Trip Advisor - it's an EXCELLENT resource.

    Hi,

Although I am not 100% sure if this person has done a Carribean wedding, I would like to suggest my wedding planner, Regina Osgood of Meant 2 Be Events. She is fabulous!    I know that she has definitely done out of town events, but not sure about the Carribean.  Here is her contact information: 602-326-6957.  The web address is www.meant2beevents.com. Good luck on your search!  You might also want to visit www.weddingbee.com. Its a great wedding site where lots of brides to be hang out and give advice.

I would check with Victoria Canada.  I am not sure if she has done weddings there, but I think if any planner in town had it probably would be here. www.weddingsandevents.net
