Groom in a white tux

Anyone have any opinions on a groom being in a white tux?

Black tuxes are more my style, but I think it can look nice.  What would the GM be wearing?

WE are doing the the groom in white.  The GM are in black.  At first I was against  the idea of him being in white.  I like the look of a man in a balck suit!!!!!!  But he was really strong about wanting it.  So after looking online at pictures and videos of other grooms in white...I actually like how it looks.  So now we are going with white!

When will your man ever get to wear a white suit again??!?!? LOL

I think how it looks can depend on the complexion of the man. A really fair-skinned, white guy might look silly in a white tux, but other than that I think it's fine. My fiance keeps joking that he wants a top hat and tails (he's 5' 6" so tails it out of the question). He's really just kidding. I agree with applemarie, though. It's his wedding too and if  he really wants white and you like the way it looks, I say go for it!
