Any Reviews on Addy's Bridal or Azteca Bridal in Phoenix??

I am trying to decide whether to buy my dress from Addy's Bridal or Azteca Bridal in Phoenix. I have been to Azteca and I agree with the online reviews that it isn't the fanciest place, but the owner was willing to give me a good deal on a Jasmine Bridal dress that I would like to order. I have only spoken over the phone with the owner at Addy's Bridal and she has been very nice and helpful and offered to match the price at Azteca & give me a free bustle. I am leaning towards Addy's but haven't seen any reviews online. Any comments anyone has would be very helpful. Thank you!!!

I have no experience with either of them as far as wedding dresses are concerned, but we did get our BM dresses from Azteca for my sister's wedding (6 years ago).  I don't remember having any issues with them on the dress.  I have never heard of Addy's bridal, so I can't offer any insight into them at all.

I've only ever dealt with Azteca.  I was engaged once before and bought my wedding dress from there.  I have no complaints about the shopping/buying process but the dress came in about 2 months later than they said it would.  I don't know if that was their fault or the manufacturers but when I called to inquire about it, they weren't terribly helpful.  Once the dress finally arrived, the engagement had been called off but I'd already paid for the dress so I went to pick it up.  It took me about 15 minutes of explaining to the lady at Azteca that I did not want to try the dress on before I left, that the wedding had been called off and I wouldn't be wearing it.  She kept insisting I go try it on anyway so I finally just grabbed the dress and walked out.

I personally don't have experience with either. However, my friend got married in March last year and had a horrible experience with Azteca. Her dress was supposed to be in by X date, she called, not in. She kept calling and didn't get any returned phone calls. Finally, I think it came in a couple weeks before the wedding, which I want to say was 2 months or so after it was expected to. I was freaking out and it wasn't even my wedding! Thankfully, she got it in time, didn't need a lot of alterations, and the dress was beautiful. However, IMO, that was unacceptable.

Never heard of Addy's Bridal. I did try on dresses at Azteca and it was not a great experience. I just felt like I had to do everything myself and got very little help. But I did find that they had good prices on their dresses and often had % off sales.

I got my wedding dress from the sale rack at azteca. While I was trying on my dress the girl next to me could see me because of the mirror on the back wall. The girl that gave us the tour of the place and claimed she was going to help us was no where to be found the entire time. It took three hours to get the dress she was supposed to bring to us. I bought my dress from there mainly beacause of the price but I will NOT be going there for my alterations. The tried to make me leave it there until I needed it altered saying I could only get altered on Tuesdays if I took it home the day I paid for it. I called them about a price on bridesmaid dress that they carried but they refused to give prices over the phone. I will not do any business with them after the experience of buying my dress.

I bought my dress from Addy's and have nothing but good reviews for them. It's a smaller shop, but have a wide selection of dresses. And you get a lot more dress for your money, too.

Azteca bridal is great if you are looking for inexpensive and you don't mind being ignored by the staff most of the time. I found it very helpful to bring my maid of honor and one of my bridesmaids. There are only two chairs outside of each dressing room so they were able to relax while I tried each dress on.
