Need affordable recommendations for bridal hairstylist and makeup artist

Hi all--I need recommendations for a bridal hairstylist and makeup artist in the East Valley.  I have looked at several on another site and the reviews are great, but the prices are high--I just can't see paying over $400 to get my hair and makeup done.  It doesn't have to be on location, but preferred of course.  If you can especially recommend a bridal hairstylist who charges under $100 for trial and style, it would be most appreciated!  Thanks!

Under $100 for trial and style is going to be difficult. The lowest I have seen is $150 for both and that was a friend who isn't known in the bridal industry much yet. Best of luck finding someone, I'll be sure to reply on here or page you if I hear of anyone down the road though.

You can look into Cielo Salon & Day Spa in Chandler. I'm using them for my wedding and they have been really nice so far. I had my hair & make-up trial there in December and all the girls were wonderful. They can go on location if you want, but there is a charge. I am not 100% on prices since I was referred by a friend so did receive some kind of a discount, but they are overall affordable. They might not be what you are looking for but it is a suggestion.

You can get your makeup done at the any department store in the mall.  They don't technically charge you anything, but you are often required to purchase a certain amount of makeup.  For me this is fantastic!  New makeup that I get to keep after the wedding.  I know that MAC is like $40-50, and they have fantastic colors.  Their makeup is a little too heavy for my face, so I'm probably going to go with Chanel.

For hair, you can always look at the beauty schools.  They get prom updos all the time, so they do a pretty good job.  If they can't do the style you want, there is about 100 other girls who can try.  The instructors are also there to help.

maybe do a beauty school and get the top level.  The Kohler Academy is great. Last time I went there they had a wedding day package actually and I dont remember the price but it was a great deal thier number is  480-222-9540. When I went to get a color and cut from the highest level student it was $40 so to me that is a good price.  My friend is a hair stylist and she will be doing all of ours at my house as well as I have a friend that works for MAC and she will be doing our makeup. Or else I would be going there. I may go the day before and get my mani pedi there though for me and my girls! Good Luck!

My sister in law is a hair stylist and she did my hair along with all my bridesmaids.  She is willing to travel to your venue and she is very reasonably priced.  America's number is 480-754-9106

For Makeup I recommend Katy with Couture Makeup.  She is based in Tucson but travels.  Her website is couturemakeup.com.
