I FINALLY have a venue! We are going with the Orpheum Penthouse. I am so excited! Finding the venue was so difficult for me. I am so glad to finally have one and be able to get moving on to the next stages.

Through the venue, I also now have a caterer (The Penthouse had 3 to choose from, so that part was pretty easy). I have a DJ and I bought my dress!

I was getting so disheartened trying to find a venue, but I am so excited now and I feel like everything's moving right along!

I just had to share that!  *whew*

    Congrats!  What is the Orpheum penthouse?  I dont' remember hearing of that one before.

    Sounds like you are doing well with planning, when is your wedding?

    The Orpheum Penthouse is in downtown Phoenix right across from the Orpheum Theater. It's the top floor/rooftop of the Orpheum Lofts.

    The wedding is March 19, 2011. The venue was the only tough part, after that the other things were pretty simple. I feel like i've definitely made some progress!

    I'm getting married March 19th too! Yay! It's kind of fun to think of someone else getting married that day. Congrats on finding the venue. It's going to be awesome I'm sure!

    We're getting married at our church, St. Tim's in Mesa, and having our reception at The Waterfront in Tempe. :)

    Thanks! I looked at a bunch of venues in the East Valley and I just fell in love with the Waterfront. I'm so happy we were able to get in there. :)

    Hi. I, too, have been looking at the Orpheum Penthouse for my upcoming wedding. Just curious: How many guests are you aiming for in the space? Best of luck to you!

    We're estimating about 100 guests. They said they've done events up to 120 people and it worked out fine. HTH!
