Hey!! I saw that you were getting your makeup done at a MAC counter... Where are you getting it done at? The store like Dillards? Or an actual store? I was just wondering because I need someone to do my makeup because I am such a tomboy I don't know how! EEk

I'm so sorry that it's taken me forever to get back to you!  We moved out this weekend, so this is the first time I've had access to a computer!  Wedding planning withdrawal!

I'm getting mine done at the MAC in Nordstrom.  It will be done at the counter, but I made an appointment a few weeks before hand.  It's $50, but you apply that towards the purchase of makeup.  I really wanted to do a trial run, but alas, I'm running out of time.

The only negative thing about the actual counter is the time constraint.  If there are customers around, they have to answer questions or ring them up.  This is sometimes frustrating, but as long as you allot enough time, you should be fine.  I allotted 1-1.5 total.  I didn't want to stress at all.

I am fairly confident in my makeup skills, but I wanted it to look professional.  You can ask during your trial run for some tips on makeup application.  The girls there are awesome and have neat tricks!  You just might be confident to do your own makeup for the rehearsal dinner!  I believe in you and the magic mascara!  Lol

Start looking for pics of makeup ideas you like in mags so you can have examples to show the makeup artists.

Sephora is also a great place to get your makeup done for the day! If you ask nicely, the girls are more than willing to airbrush you and doll you up so long as you buy a few products and promise to rant and rave. And the airbrushing looks flawless!

That's also a great idea!  I have heard that airbrushing is pretty darn awesome!
