Florist?

Does anyone know a good but inexpensive florist who would be willing to use vases that I already have?   I am assuming it would be a whole lot cheaper to purchase vases wholesale and have the florist use them for my centerpeices.

I am using Amanda with Butterfly Petals, as are a lot of other girls on here.  She is extremely reasonable and will work with any budget.  I am using my own vases for the cocktail hour and it was no issue at all.  www.butterflypetals.com

I am using Jen with Ever After Florals.

She was reasonable (fit within my budget and was comparable to others I met with).  In addition, she is using lanterns that I am providing.  We are also having her supply some vases, but they were very reasonably priced and we are keeping them... just so we don't have to return them after the wedding.  I asked her what the cost savings would be if we rented them.  It was minimal so we opted to keep them because we will leaving for our Honeymoon after the wedding and I didn't want to worry about returning them before we left.

    Good Luck!

Oh, and also, the vases she is renting for my centerpieces are only $2 each to rent, so if you do not alerady own vases it may be worth it to see what she can rent for you in your budget.

I booked Amanda with Butterfly Petals & she's fantastic! Jen at Ever After was my close second though. Both quotes were roughly the same so it was difficult choosing one over the other. In the end, I appreciated Amanda's whimsical & unique style. Her bouquets were so different & something I had never seen before, which is why I went with her. I'm sure you'd be happy with either florist though, it's just a matter of personal preference. GL!

I am also going with Amanda.  She's so amazing!  She basically works magic with the budget.  Also, I know that she can work with a small budget.  Someone I know worked with her and had a budget of $300 and I could have never guessed that the arrangements and bouquets cost that little!  I was extremely impressed!

Sometimes renting the vases from the florist is a lot cheaper then buying them. I rented mine when I used Butterfly Petals and I think they $2-3 each...and looked nice. I dont know where you can really find vases for that cheap that look good.

Owning the vases is good if you plan to let guests take the centerpieces with them after the wedding. I know thats what people do back east. I havent really seen that done out here. Or if you have big plans for the vases afterwards. Then maybe buy.
