Day of Wedding Coordinators

Debating whether it is worth spending money on a day of wedding coordinator.  I have kind of looked into it, and found it pretty pricey.  Anybody out there have any suggestions or worked with any day of wedding coordinators that won't break the bank?

    I have no idea how much she charges because we got hooked up under kind of a weird circumstance. But I'm working with the most fabulous woman EVER - Her name is Rikki at Encore Creative. She does invitations, day-of planning, decor, has suggestions on great vendors, etc. We've only been working together for just a few months maybe, but so far my experience has be excellent with her.

    Day of Coordinators are TOTALLY worth it.  They will handle your entire timeline of events.  All you need to do is get ready and enjoy your day.

    I did a ton of research and narrowed it down to Victoria Canada and Imoni Events.  In the end, I chose Gretchen and Jennifer from Imoni Events.  They were extremely friendly, knowledgable and had a great day-of package that included a lot more than other companies offered.

    Do you research and interview a few of them to get a feel for them and their work.

    Brandy Blackford at Sweet I Do's is amazing!  $500 for the Day Of package.  She's very professional and sweet.  She's going to bind my all flowers for me the night before the wedding so my bridesmaids and I don't have to!

    Thanks for Brandy's name.  I got in touch with her and hopefully will meet with her this week.  I'm trying to sale to my fiance that things and my sanity will be much better if we have a DOW coordinator.  I don't care if I have to skimp back on something else just so we can do this.  Wish me luck :)

    Good luck!  If he can make it, take him with you to meet her.  My fiancé and I met her together, and afterward I think he was even more excited about the prospect of a day of coordinator than I was!  :)
