A few weeks back I think I asked you wonderful ladies about finding a
particular lamp. Well I had no luck finding it - even after sending it to all the decor places in town. Nobody had anything like it and I was starting to try to figure out how to DIY it, which I don't mind, but it was a bit intimidating and I didn't want to have to deal with all the stuff before and after the wedding.
Well about 5 minutes ago one of them emailed me and their designer MADE me one. I LOVE it!! I am so excited/impressed that they did this. I can't wait to go back in and see their other ideas for the remaining 2 table setups.
The funny thing is that I fell in love with this vendor (encore creative) a few months back when I saw a table design they did in a magazine. Well I immediately put them out of my head after getting an $18,000 quote for florals, linens and centerpieces. I didn't think they could create my vision under budget so I just left it alone.
Anyway, long story short, I emailed thinking they may have the lamps and I could just rent those and she completely revised the quote, pretty much keeping my vision and stayed within my budget, which was far off from the first quote obviously.

My only thought is that it wasn't the damask that I was crazy about it was the lamp itself. Since she made it out of damask I figure, why not, it's still definitely fun, but is it going to look out of place with nothing else damask?
I guess I could always change the third element to damask and incorporate it on the candy table, but I don't really want it anywhere else... will that look funny?
