Small Elegant location?

I'm having a small wedding. I just want something elegant- not something at a mexican restaurant or in my own backyard- some else's might be ok    I would like a small chapel even. The church I attend is very large and not pretty enough, to bland. Sorry to say that. I just want my pics to have beautiful backgrounds. Any ideas?   Thanks

Haha mine was the same way! We have basketball hoops in our sanctuary!  The only way to dress those up is with streamers, which might actually be worse   Welcome to the board, btw!

I would recommend that you check out the Wright house.  They have two venues at one location, and are made for small to medium sized weddings.  One venue is more of a Victorian garden where as the other is more of a romantic Tuscan terrace.  They are a great all inclusive venue, and people are always happy with their services. I have been to plenty of weddings here and really considered it for ours.  Plus they have some amazing photo ops!

What is your budget for the venue?  It's easier to make recommendations if we have an idea of a price range

I'm getting married at the Wright House  this month and my guestlist is about 80people.  I have loved working with them, and it has been awesome having parts of the package already included. (i.e. caterer/cake / etc).  I'm getting married in the Victorian Garden, but it was very hard to choose between the two.  They do open houses I think either Tuesday or Wednesday evening and are very friendly and don't pressure you to sign up.  Definitely check out their website, but some of the pics don't do it justice. I dont know if you have to have a church.  But I'm having mine at the Japanese Friendship Garden downtown.  It's outside, there's a little lake, with a waterfall and lots of trees etc.  I'm having a small wedding as well, about 70 guests.  You might want to check it out
