Table covers / Linens

Hi everyone - so things are moving along with the planning.   I am now searching for the tables/ chairs / linens.  

We are having an outdoor reception very casual - going with a Gourmet hot dog stand / chips / sodas/ sides.  

We have thought of getting plastic table covers since it is outside - do you think this is ok - or too tacky?

I think it's okay as long as you get the thicker kind.  Not the ones you can just poke through with your fingers.
