Has anyone been to a wedding here?  We booked it for our 10/1/11 wedding!

    I have participated in events there and work with an event planner who has had weddings there. Let me know if you want to connect with her. The staff are great there - very professional!

    Thanks FlowerMaven!  I'd love the planners info.  I am still undecided on a wedding planner because the staff at the Marriott has been very helpful and said I would have 3 go-to people the day of my wedding... so just not sure if thats good enough or if I should just get a planner

    It is a great place to have a ceremony and reception! I would highly recommend hiring a planner though if you want to ease the stress of your wedding day. When you marry at a resort or hotel the planners are usually part of the catering team and have more than one event to tend to on one day. If you need any help with planning I would be happy to assist!

    I just started looking at venues and went there over the weekend.  We met with Elena, the events manager there.  She was very nice and we liked the venue.  We may book there.  Let me know how the planning goes with them.  I wasn't sure if I still needed to hire my own wedding coordinator or not either.
