Local Dress Donation

Anyone know of a place to donate a dress in the area? I tried a few national places, but they all require me to ship it to them, and I really can't afford that.

I'm also open to 'donating' it to one of you folks, if anyone is interested- it's size 18 a-line and comes with a slip. The train is ripped, but otherwise it's beautiful. I'd like it to go to someone who can't afford much.

    I'm not sure where to donate to, but I wanted to say that I think that's totally sweet of you! I'll keep my eyes open, and if I happen to see anything I'll let you know.

    There is a website called recycled bride that specializes in selling lightly used wedding dresses. You can post your dress kind of like on Craigslist and ask whatever you want for it. So that's an idea to help a another bride that can't afford a new one.
    You can set it to be local or nationwide.
