Sedona Wedding

Anyone have any tips for a sedona wedding? My fiance really wants it to be in Sedona but I'm worried about it breaking the budget... We're having a small wedding... 50 invite max with only a portion actually showing up. It'll be in winter, indoors and during the week so I know that normally makes it a little cheaper...

Re: Sedona Wedding

  • We got married at Tlaquepaque last month. We had about 50 people. The ceremony was in the chapel and the reception was in the reception room. The site fee was very affordable... $500 for the chapel and $1000 for the reception room (includes 10 round tables and 100 chavari chairs) w/ a $500 refundable deposit. Adam was also great to work with.
  • If you're getting married indoors in the winter, I think you'll lose out on a lot of the beauty of Sedona, so why go to the expense and effort of an out of town wedding?

I'm also getting married at Tlaquepaque in April (ceremony in Patio de las Campanas and reception in Calle Independencia).

  • When we were looking, we found Sedona was actually pretty comparable to most of the places here. I think even in winter Sedona is a gorgeous location, esp when the red rocks are snow capped.
  • I am having a budget wedding in Sedona too. I understand why you would not want outdoors in winter there. I am having mine outside and reception at the Amara resort and spa. April bates is the event coordinator and she is awesome! I don't even need a wedding planner! She hooked us up with lots of discounts too. Total food is under 1500, drinks not included. You could try agave of Sedona and have both ceremony/reception at same place. Thalamus plaque was

Was expensive. hit wrong button Or you could look into renting a tent at a park and get the best of both worlds. Make sure to rent heaters! There is also a historic apple cannery with a large barn you could decorate however you want. Hope these non budget breaking ideas help to get the ball rolling.
