Wedding Website on Save the Date?

Is it ok to include your wedding website on your save the date?

this is my website if you wanted an example of what I am talking about:
www.mywedding.com/princecarpenter

I was wondering because I know it is not ok to include registry info on the invitation or save the date.

While my website includes registry info,  there is also a lot of other information on the website that would be helpful.  I am currently working on hotel blocks and they will noted on our website before we mail our save the dates.  Since my side is traveling from WI and my FI's are coming from MI, I would like them to have as much information as possible as early as possible.

What is your take on this?  Is it ok to include a wedding website on the save the date?  Is it only ok if the website does not include registry info?  Or, is it ok to include the website even if there is a page that includes the registry info?

Thanks for your help!  I just don't want to ignore etiquette issues with wedding websites and save the dates!

This is perfectly ok!  As long as the registry info isn't on the actual invitation.  I forgot to put my wedding website on the STD, so it was pretty useless hahaha!

My FBIL had their wedding website on the STDs and I found it to be quite useful!  Since we live OOT as it seems like many of your guests do, we were out of the loop on lots of stuff.  It was nice to be able to find info on the wedding, registries, hotels, maps, etc on the website, but I never would have found their website if it wasn't on the STD.  It was on the very bottom of the STD (postcard style) in small-ish (but obviously readable) print.  I personally think it is ok to include it even if you have registry info on the website.  I'm 99% sure we'll put our website on our STDs and our website will include registry info.

We put the wedding website on the STDs but no one seemed to look at it... I guess a few people (our parents & siblings, a groomsman or two) commented on it / signed the website guest book but that was about it. Our registry info wasn't up at the time, but I don't think it would have been a big deal if it had been. Do what you want!

Yes...way okay!  It's the perfect, modern day thing to do!

By the way, I like your website and really like the "Attractions" page.  It is nicely worded with addresses and websites.  Would you mind if I copied and pasted some of those attraction sites for my own website?

Thanks for the advice!  I am going to keep it on the layout.  I am doing them myself so as soon as they are complete, I will post a finished product!

applemarie- totally copy the attractions page!  No problem at all!  Have fun.

I put my wedding site on both the Save te Date and Invite. Some will go to it, others won't I think it's a nice benefit.
