Dance Lessons

Anyone know of a reasonably priced dance instructor? We went to the bridal show this weekend and the prices for the dance studios we met seemed a little high ($400 +)...

Thanks!

Fred Astaire has a really basic package of 4 mini classes including 2 twenty minute private classes for $40....I checked out their website the other day....not sure how much training you want

I'm not sure if you're a student, but ASU offers dance classes during the semester.  They would be really expensive to take if you aren't already enrolled, but I know some of the community colleges offer them as well a more reasonable price.

Sometimes I take Zumba at FX Studios off of Guadalupe & Dobson & they offer ballroom classes. I went on Monday night & they have a special this month where you pay $25 & you can can take as many classes during 1 week as you want. I'm not sure whether couples can share cards, but it might be worth Googling. GL!

Ambiant Dance in Scottsdale offers a free 45 minute private lesson to get started and then a $350 wedding package which includes 5 private lessons that I believe are 45 minutes each.

They also have group dance classes during the week and have a dance every Friday evening where you get a lesson and open dance time for a very reasonable $10 each. The dance each week changes so you can get exposure to lots of fun dances and even pick up some moves during the open dance.
