catering reccomendations

does anyone have any catering reccomendations and pricing info. We want to do an appitizer style buffet, and desert bar, salad bar. Not a sit down dinner, we are going very simple. I was considering using Heidis Catering...any ideas? thanks!

My wedding venue provides their own catering company and it's amazing, so I'm sorry to say, but we didn't sample many others. However, I've heard aaaamazing things about Heide's and I also sampled the food at the bridal show, it was excellent!

I have enjoyed Heidi's food as well and I find their prices to be completely reasonable. I actually considered using them at my site, but was talked out of it. The venue we're using has a "preferred caterer" which I'm sure means that they are sharing in the profit, so of course my venue is pushing that one, but he felt that Heidi's is "too big" to provide a good experience. I don't know what justification he has for that, but because the catering at my venue is just as affordable as Heidi's, I agreed to just stay with them. I haven't heard any other negative things about Heidi's though, and would probably use them myself if I was at a different venue. Good luck!

Thanks! Just booked with Heidi she is amazing! Her catering cost us about 3,500 with the wedding cake included and a buffet style wedding.

I was going to go with Heidi's but found Heavenly Scent to have better food and better prices.

What did Heavenly Scent offer pricewise and for how many people? Also is it buffet style?

They have plates starting at $10/person and going up from there. You have to pay tax and 12% gratuity on top of that. We are using them for our 80ish guest buffet style reception. One protein, two starches, veggie side, salad and rolls for $12/person. They offer more food for less money than Heidi's and it's great food.
