Married!!!

Our wedding on Jan 7 was amazing!  I cannot believe how things came together and how amazing it was.  The only thing that went wrong was that I forgot my jewelry at the hotel (I'm such a dummy!), but one of my bridesmaids went back and got it.  She saved the day!!!  I will post vendor reviews this weekend!!!  

One piece of advice I have is that if you are on the fence about doing a reveal/first look before the ceremony, DO IT!!!!  We weren't really sure what we wanted to do, but with 2 weeks to go and a little encouragement from our photogs, we decided to do it.  It made things SOOO much better!  We had time for breaks, all the photos we could ever want, and an entire hour after the ceremony for photos of just us two!  It made the day so amazing and helped us stick to our schedule!  If you are thinking about it, you should definitely do it.  There's nothing wrong with not doing a reveal, but I am beyond glad that we did it.  Vendor reviews to come :)

    I know I'm going to forget something like that the day of...  I'm glad you were able to get it before things got started! 

    That's good to know about the first look too, we have been going back and forth on it.  The exact reason I wanted to was because of all the benefits you said you had from it, so that's awesome to see!

    Looking forward to your reviews and (hopefully!) some pics!   =)

    I agree. We had been sitting on the fence about doing a first look too, and I think someone on here said that it's such an emotional moment between you two that it's nice to have that time when you can actually run to each other and kiss and whatnot, whereas if you hold off till the ceremony, you can't just grab each other in front of everyone. We did a first look and I'm glad we did because I had no idea my guy was gonna get all misty and cry (don't tell him I told you LOL). It was so sweet! I can't imagine what it would have been like if we had to wait till the ceremony to see each other.
