Invitations!!!

My mom was visiting me this weekend so we got started on putting together my invitations.  We got through quite a few, and I put a picture of the final result in my bio!  I am so pleased with the way they turned out!!!

Those look gorgeous!  Great job!  I may have to ask for help once I get around to starting to look for mine!

    Congrats on the check!

Thanks ladies!  They were not nearly as hard as I thought!  It took a few hours to cut out all the pieces (I used the awesome paper cutter at Kinkos) and a few hours to assemble them.  Not 100% done but pretty close!  I HIGHLY recommend the lady that designed them for me, her info is in my bio under vedors.  She made life a lot easier!

Those look amazing & so professional! I'm glad to hear putting them together isn't a nightmare too. :o) You're almost ready to check that off of your list!

Question, how did you affix the printouts to the cardstock (e.g. glue, tape, etc.)? I ask because I received an invite in the mail a few days ago that used foamy tape, but it was wobbly & I wasn't loving the look (you could tell they DIY'd it). TIA!!

Gogalina- I used Zip Glue.  I bought it from Cards and Pockets and it was great.  You can move the paper around until the glue dries, so if you do not put it on perfectly you can moved it without ruining the inviations.  But once it dries it is impossible to remove, it really is stuck on there!  It dries clear and not bumpy, so you can not see the glue anywhere, it worked really well!  For the monogram on the outside I glued it to the flap with this glue, but I used a non-permanent glue square (from Michaels) to close it up.  This keeps the pocket fold closed but does not rip it when you open it up.  It is kind of like a sticker.
