Arizona-Phoenix

First Post- venue question

Hi everyone! I just engaged last weekend. I am thinking about a November 2011 wedding in the Phoenix area and was wondering what everyone thought about Boojum Tree. Specifically, I can't seem to find pricing info anywhere. Any info would be appreciated! Thanks.

I love that place! It is so beautiful. The pricing was out of our budget. All you have to do is email them and they will send you pricing or send me your email address and I can forward you the pricing they gave me for 2011.

I absolutely loved Boojum Tree, but it was out of my budget. What I remember about the place was that it was tropically-Mexican-cantina feeling and it had great potential for amazing photography and decorations for the reception room. What I didn't like (other than the price) was that their packages didn't really include a whole lot it seemed and they had certain preferred vendors that you had to use. Best thing you can do is set up an appointment to see it for yourself and get all the pricing information from them.

I had gone there for a Holiday Party one year and loved the venue.  However, when I went back to tour it for a possible reception site... it looked much different.  maybe it was because it was during the day.  It  was disapointing. Its also not located in the best area.  On top of that, the girl working there was a but rude, walked us around for about 3 minutes and then left us to look at pictures in the office while she surfed the internet.  There are such better places in the valley for that kind of money.

I never looke din person, but loved it online, but like the others it was out of my budget.  Very pretty though.  Just e-mail and they can send you current pricing.  If you are flexible on it not being a saturday night it is probably more affordable.

I looked at it online, it looks gorgeous, but doesn't exactly the style my FI and I had in mind for our wedding, so we didn't inquire any further.  However, I am finding that 90% of venues do not have any prices online, you almost always have to request pricing info.  I now have a folder in my inbox of all the pricing I've gotten back from venues.  My suggestion is to request pricing, then if it's in your budget, schedule a tour or plan to go to an open house to see it in person.
