Getting in Shape board - 5/10


Well another no loss week for me - course I was partying it up in Vegas all weekend - so that could be why.

Started the week off well with a gym day yesterday, a run this morning and I"m heading back to the gym now for some more!

How is everyone else doing?

    Well, I gained weight trying to use Sparkpeople.com this week. I like the info on that site,but find the tracking devices to be a bit cumbersome. I decided to go back to Weight Watchers. It's the only plan that has ever worked for me in the past. I signed up for the online portion, but plan to get back to meetings in about a month when my work schedule calms down.

    I made my 3 miles on Monday! Whoot whoot!  The downer was that I hurt my knee in the last 10 feet of my run.  It's just a slight twinge, but I'm too afraid to run anymore before the wedding.  I'm envisioning crutuching around the wedding and honeymoon :(

    Nilla - yeah, I would definitely recommend taking it easy if you hurt yourself.  congrats on the milestone though :) great job.  Give your body some time to heal and you can work off the honeymoon when you get back.

    This week I have started walking about 1.5 miles a day. I know it isn't much but I am building! Of course, being the klutz I am, on my first day walking/running in intervals I totally jacked my knee running too Nilla!!! So back to just walking, but with my knee wrapped and at a moderate pace. I downloaded this awesome iPhone app that calculates steps take, distance traveled, calories burned, and plays my music too! Yay for iPhones

    Oh no Marissa! I hope yours gets better too! Mine feels much better after a few days rest and some NSAIDs.

    Ok I swear it just said that your username was different.  And, it was a mean name, so I'm not going to repeat what it said.... Maybe it was a glitch?
