Budget Venues

I know this topic has been beaten to death, but looking through the past posts, I haven't been able to find exactly what I'm looking for.  I just got engaged last Friday in Hawaii, and now that we are back, I'm starting to browse wedding stuff.

We are planning to look into next fall, probably November for a wedding date.  Our total budget for the entire wedding is only around $6000, maybe a little more depending on how much we are able to save in the next year.

We are looking to cap our guest list at 75 people and aren't opposed to a weekday wedding.  We are out on the east side of town and it would be nice to have a closer venue, but I wouldn't pass up a venue elsewhere in the valley if the price is right.  Any suggestions for affordable, but nice venue in the valley?

i think the most affordable places will be a friend/family clubhouse...this way you can bring in your own catering staff.

I hate to say this, but, I looked at so many venues, and I did not find exactly what I was looking for either!  And, that trend continued throughout the wedding planning process.  I had to compromise with myself, especially to stick within my budget!

I am not sure which venues from the other posts you have looked at, but these are the ones that I would look into.  If these are not what you want, then we may need some more information as to exactly what you are looking for (ie: country club, modern, full service, BYOB, etc).

I would look at the following:

    - Val Vista Lakes - http://www.vvlevents.com/pricing/

    - Chapel on the Farm  -  http://www.chapelonthefarm.com/weddingsreceptions.html

    - Inside the bungalow - http://www.insidethebungalow.com/Packages_and_Pricing.html

    - Botanical Gardens -

    - Japanese Friendship Gardens  (ceremony only, no food allowed)-

Trebella has some all inclusive packages including everything...photographer cake, food, open bar!!! Check it out!  Its indoors for ceremony and reception, has an urban vibe.  Its located in downtown Mesa.  There are several ladies on TK that are having thier wedding there too!!! I love it, and love that so much is done for you! I'm getting married next month and I feel like there's not much to do!!  The process has been easy and Kim, the wedding coordinator is amazing!!!  You must attend an open house and see it for yourself...she has them monthly.

My budget has been about 8K and Tre Bella has made it totally possible. We even had some extra money in the budget for fun things like a photo booth! To top is off, Kim, the Tre Bella coordinator, is amazing.

Shenandoah mill in Gilbert is a really good one- they have some small-wedding packages that are all-inclusive, although i can't remember how many people. they're for... www.shenandoahmill.com

my location is in gilbert as well, and i LOVE it- it's called Portico (off Williams Field and Gilbert). it's a super small, intimate location that is REALLY flexible with outside vendors, provides all the linens and centerpieces, has great deals with caterers and a bakery, and has better pricing because they're on a county island where they dont' have to pay as much in taxes. i strongly suggest it- cost-wise, this location won out over everything else for us. :)www.porticoweddings.com

I am getting married at Fiesta Resort in Tempe on 10-10-10. We are having a 3 entree buffet for 37.00 per person. also beer and wine for 2 hours for 17.00 per person. They also do plated dinners starting at 29.00 and going up to 36.00.   They have been fantastic with everything!!  It is keeping within the budget, and there are so many things built into the price, like your honeymoon suite for your wedding night.   They also will include the wedding planner, and all the people there are fantastic.  There are different places to do the ceremony on the property, and different ballrooms and banquet rooms for the reception. Hope this helps!! Congrats on your engagement!!   Smile
